  • ‘Old Sarum – A Sense of Place’ Exhibition

I want to start by thanking everyone who came to see my recent exhibition ‘Old Sarum – A Sense of Place’ and to all those that supported, even if they were unable to make it. The event was a success and our online access to socially distanced booking slots proved to be very useful and efficient, working very well for all those that attended the gallery during the weekend of the 12th & 13th December 2020.

  • My Experience as a Judge for the 2020 Wiltshire Creative Summer Open

I was recently a judge for this year’s Wiltshire Creative Summer Open Exhibition, which I felt very honoured to be a part of. It was interesting to see the exhibition from the other side of the fence, as last year I was an exhibitor and this year, I was invited to help choose around 90 pieces to be entered into the show and the public vote for the ‘best in show’.
  • New Limited Edition Print: Grand Canal, Venice

Venice is difficult to describe unless you have seen it with your own eyes. The town is medieval, oozing with history as you walk between the walls of the towering buildings that are built so closely together in some places that you wonder what the building conditions were like back when they were built.
  • Winter Hare with Golden Moon Collection – Another Happy Client…

Earlier this month, we captured this wonderful photo of some clients collecting their first piece from my collection. It is a delight to see how happy the work makes them – truly one of the best parts about being an artist and seeing my work go to a new home.
  • Original Artwork Commission, just in time for Christmas

A client approached me earlier this year to create something bespoke for a special place in their home, as a present to themselves. They wanted something that would remind them of one of their favourite places and fit into the allocated wall space that they wanted to showcase it in.
  • An Evening of Cabaret with Celebrate Voice

At the end of October, Memory Fine Art supported an event for the Celebrate Voice community. It is a pleasure being able to support other members of the local creative community and we were delighted to sponsor an event that was part of the recent Celebrate Voice festival of performances at the purpose built, pop-up Piccolo Theatre which you may have seen residing in Salisbury Market Square in front of the Guildhall for the last couple of weeks.

  • New Precious Metals Limited Edition ‘Autumn Hare’ – How it happened…

Last year, a client bought an original piece from the Gallery in Salisbury named ‘Winter Hare with a golden moon’, which is from the precious metals collection. The same client recently made an appointment at the Gallery a few months ago, in order to try and find another picture to sit alongside their existing piece.

  • Memory Fine Art hosts Celebrate Voice in Salisbury Gallery

Earlier this month on Friday 13th September, we were delighted to host an evening event for Celebrate Voice at our gallery in Salisbury City centre. We love supporting the arts locally and it was a privilege to welcome the festival friends of this wonderful organisation to enjoy a night of arts, networking, celebrations and nibbles.
