Wiltshire Creative Open Exhibition 2019
I am very excited that two pieces of work were accepted into the Wiltshire Creative Open exhibition, which is currently showing at Salisbury Arts centre until 7th September.
Here, six individual works developed on the theme of style personality were combined to form one larger work. This high quality Giclee is the first of a limited edition of ten. (Pictured above: Me with artistic director Mirka Golden-Hann at the launch event.)
The work forms a series of six images exploring style personality. It exploits the competing concepts of classical and contemporary icons, challenging the viewer to experience a reflection of their own style personality through preference.
The image is the head of Dawn, one of the three statues that adorn the tomb of Lorenzo De Medici by Michelangelo. (Pictured above: Charcoal Study of Dawn.)
In support of the Summer Open, I have also created a window display at the Memory Fine Art gallery on Winchester Street in Salisbury city centre, with the work of some of the other artists from the Wiltshire Creative Open exhibition - please do stop by and take a look.
The work inside the gallery can be viewed by appointment, so please get in touch if you would like to come along and view any of the work listed on this site. All enquiries welcome, please feel free to get in touch via the contact page or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
